Frontal Frames
Frontal Frames
Frontal frame is a metal structure on which the fender is installed and which comes into direct contact with the ship’s hull when the ship is moored. With several years of experience in manufacturing metal mooring equipment, Madco has specialized in manufacturing frontal frames. Frontal frame manufacturing in this complex is done using computerized and precise equipment. This equipment includes CNC plasma cutting machines, CNC gas cutting machines, numerical bending machines, and welding and cutting machines. Before construction, all design and calculation steps related to the frontal frame are carried out, and the relevant calculation booklet is presented to the client and project consultant. After the consultant and the client approve, the construction steps begin. This company has so far manufactured frontal frames for Shahid Bahonar Pier in Bandar Abbas, Bandar Abbas Steel Special Economic Zone Pier, Shahid Rajaee Pier, and other piers in its resume and has succeeded in obtaining the client’s satisfaction in its contracts.
The main function of the front panel is to distribute the reaction forces from the shock absorber units to the ship’s hull. They are available in two types: open and closed. The open type is composed of steel pad, H steel and steel. The closed type is composed of steel pad and back steel, H steel. The structure of the front panel should be designed according to the ships, dock structures, arrangement of shock absorbers and water conditions, etc.
